Fuel Cutoff Mode

To prevent dieseling, no fuel is delivered by the injectors when the ignition is "OFF." In addition, the Engine Control Module (ECM) suspends fuel delivery if no distributor reference pulses are detected (engine not running) to prevent engine flooding.
