Test F: Stop Engine Temp Indicator Test

Disconnect Engine Metal Temperature Switch connector and jumper terminal A (LT GRN) to B (BLK). Turn Ignition Switch to RUN. Observe STOP ENGINE TEMP Indicator.

^ If indicator lights, replace Engine Metal Temperature Switch.

^ If indicator does not light, check indicator bulb, LT GRN (37) wire and BLK (150) wire for an open. Check Engine Metal Temperature Switch connector and all applicable terminals at in-line connectors (see schematic) for proper terminal contact, refer to TECH TIPS for inspection/repair procedures.
