Test G: Temperature Short Test

1. With Ignition Switch in RUN, disconnect the Engine Metal Temperature Switch connector and observe STOP ENGINE TEMP Indicator.

^ If indicator is off, replace Engine Metal Temperature Switch.

^ If indicator is not off, go to step 2.

2. Disconnect the Multi-Function Chime (MFC) Module connector.

^ If indicator is off, replace Multi-Function Chime (MFC) Module.

^ If indicator is not off, check LT GRN wire and Ignition Switch for a short to ground (see schematic). If OK, replace Instrument Cluster.
