MOAN NOISE DURING STEERING MANEUVERS (INSTALL NEW BRACKET)


MODELS AFFECTED:
1993 FLEETWOODS (FWD) AND FLEETWOOD BROUGHAMS (RWD)


Some owners of 1993 Fleetwoods (FWD) and Fleetwood Broughams (RWD) may comment on a "moaning" type noise during some steering maneuvers.

On some vehicles built before VIN 1G6DW5275PR715730, the ABS brake pressure modulator valve bracket may rub the stone shield on the steering shaft during certain steering inputs.

A revised brake pressure modulator valve rear mounting bracket has been released. If a vehicle is found with this condition, install a new bracket, P/N 10235263.

Parts are expected to be available on February 1, 1993.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation T1943 at .3 hour.
