Status Lights

Diagnostic Display Panel:

PCM Status Lights
As soon as "PCM?" is selected, the Electronic Climate Control (ECC) panel begins display of PCM Status Lights. PCM Status Lights will continue to be displayed until PCM diagnostic functions are exited. PCM Status Lights show the current state of certain discrete PCM inputs and outputs by turning "ON" or "OFF" certain indicators on the ECC panel.

Transaxle Shift "A" Solenoid
The status of the Transaxle Shift "A" Solenoid is indicated by the "OFF" symbol on the ECC panel. The Transaxle Shift "A" Solenoid is energized when the "OFF" symbol is "ON." The Transaxle Shift "A" Solenoid is de-energized when the "OFF" symbol is "OFF."

Transaxle Shift "B" Solenoid
The status of the Transaxle Shift B Solenoid is indicated by the "ECON" symbol on the ECC panel. The Transaxle Shift "B" Solenoid is energized when the "ECON" symbol is "ON." The Transaxle Shift "B" Solenoid is de-energized when the "ECON" symbol is "OFF."

PCM Operating Mode
The PCM operating mode is indicated by the AUTO symbol on the ECC panel. The PCM is in Closed Loop when the AUTO symbol is "ON." The PCM is in Open Loop when the AUTO symbol is "OFF."

A/C Clutch Command
The A/C compressor clutch command is indicated by the Front Defrost symbol on the ECC panel. The A/C clutch is commanded on the when the front defrost symbol is "ON." The A/C clutch is commanded "OFF" when the front defrost symbol is "OFF."

Transaxle Shift Adapt Status
The Transaxle Shift Adapt Status is indicated by the °C symbol on the ECC panel. The transaxle shift adapts are disabled when the °C symbol is "ON." The Transaxle Shift adapts are enabled when the °C symbol is "OFF."

TCC Output
The TCC output is indicated by the Rear Defrost symbol on the ECC panel. TCC is enabled when the Rear Defrost symbol is "ON." TCC is disabled when the Rear Defrost symbol is "OFF."

Throttle Position Switch
The Throttle Position Switch status is indicated by the "LOW FAN" symbol on the ECC panel. The Throttle Position Switch is closed when the "LOW FAN" symbol is "ON." The Throttle Position Switch is open when the "LOW FAN" symbol is "OFF."

Park/Neutral Switch
The status of the Park/Neutral switch contacts of the Transaxle Range Switch is indicated by the "NORM FAN" symbol on the ECC panel. The Park/Neutral switch contacts are closed when the "NORM FAN" symbol is "ON." The Park/Neutral switch contacts are open when the "NORM FAN" symbol is "OFF."
