Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Adjustments
With brake pedal depressed, push cruise control/stoplight switch fully into retainer, then pull brake pedal fully back to rest position. Switch will back out of retainer and adjust automatically. On vehicles equipped with anti-lock brakes, release brake pedal and allow to come to rest. Brake release switch contacts should open at 1/8 - 1/2 inch pedal travel, measured at centerline of brake pedal pad. Actuation of stop lamp contact is 3/16 after cruise control contact opens.
