Chart 8 Rear A/C Blower Speed Incorrect

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Power from the fuse is applied to the blower and ground is supplied through the switch. The blower speed is controlled by varying the circuit amperage using a series of three resistors contained in a module. The Air Conditioning Programmer (ACP) receives a feedback signal but has no bearing on the rear blower operation.

TEST DESCRIPTION
Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.
1. This step checks for poor ground or poor feed circuit.
2. This step determines if resistor module is faulty.
3. This step defines a faulty circuit or faulty switch assembly.
