SIR CLEAR CODES
The Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System clear codes option may be used to clear stored SIR trouble codes. When selected, the SIR Clear Codes option immediately erases all codes stored up to that point and causes the Driver Information Center (DIC) to display "SIR Codes Clear." Once a problem has been corrected, it is a good idea to clear codes so that any future service work is not needlessly confused.

To Clear Codes:

1. Enter diagnostics by pushing the "OFF" and "WARMER" buttons simultaneously.
2. Wait for "SIR?" to be displayed and then hit the "HI" button.
3. Once "DATA" is displayed push the "LO" button until "CLEAR CODES" is displayed.
4. When "CLEAR CODES" is displayed push the "HI" button and the codes will be cleared.
