GENERAL OPERATION

BLOWER FAN CONTROL

"LO", "AUTO LO", "AUTO", "AUTO HI", "HI"
These buttons on the Climate Control Center (CCC) will control fan speed operation. If the "AUTO" button is selected, the blower fan will operate automatically based on the various inputs to the system. (In the following paragraphs on mode and temperature settings, we will explain operations as if the "AUTO" button was selected.)

If the "Fan Up" button is depressed once, the blower fan speed will increase slightly and the climate control center will display "AUTO HI". The blower fan will operate automatically similar to the "AUTO" setting except at slightly faster speeds. If the "Fan Up" button is depressed twice, the fan will always run at a fixed high rate of speed and "HI" will be displayed on the Climate Control Center (CCC). This is an override of the automatic fan speed control.

If the "Fan Down" button is depressed once, the blower fan speed will decrease slightly and the climate control panel will display "AUTO LO". The blower fan will operate automatically similar to the "AUTO" setting except at slightly slower speeds. If the "Fan Down" button is depressed twice, the fan will always run at a fixed low rate of speed and "LO" will be displayed on the Climate Control Center (CCC). This, like the "HI" setting, is also an override of the automatic fan speed control.

Depressing the "AUTO" button will return the blower fan speed control to the initial automatic operation. Depressing either the "Fan Up" or "Fan Down" buttons will shift the blower fan speed control upward or downward through the additional automatic operations "HI AUTO" or "LO AUTO" to either of the fixed blower speeds of "HI" or "LO".

CONSOLE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL (ELDORADO/SEVILLE ONLY)
A second blower motor is provided in the console to aid in the year round comfort of the rear seat passengers. The operation and speed of the console blower motor is controlled by a slide lever on the rear of the console which increments from "OFF" to "HIGH".
