Accelerator Cable With/V4U Coachbuilder Option

Fig. 32 Accelerator Control & Cruise Control Cable Adjuster Removal:

1. Remove cover and shield from adjuster, then squeeze tabs on side of cover to remove, Fig. 32.
2. Remove accelerator control, cruise control cable and automatic transmission TV.
3. Disconnect electrical connector, then loosen bolts/screws and reposition module.
4. Remove adjuster and bracket assembly from vehicle.
5. Remove bracket nuts, then bracket from adjuster, then retainers and bolts/screws.
6. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Torque bracket nuts and module bolts/screws to 5-6 ft. lbs.
b. Adjust automatic transmission TV cable as outlined under Adjustments. Adjustments
c. Adjust accelerator cable (without V4U Coachbuilder Equipment Option) as outlined.
