Service Procedures

In order to expedite the completion of this campaign, we have included with this bulletin a sufficient supply of parts required to correct all affected vehicles sold by or shipped to your dealership. However, for your information, the following part description is being provided and additional parts, if required, may be ordered from GMSPO in the normal manner:

11501906 Throttle Cable Tie Strap 1 Per Vehicle





1. Inspect throttle cable retainer to ensure that retainer tab is fully latched into mating retainer slot at throttle cable bracket. See figure 1.

2. Install tie strap (P/N 11501906) around throttle cable and secure to cruise control bracket. Ensure tie strap is seated next to shoulder of retainer . See figure 1.

Important:
Make sure that tie strap is not wrapped around cruise control linkage or cable.

3. Snip off excess strap approximately 1/4" above connection, then rotate connection beneath bracket for neat appearance.

4. Install Campaign Completion Label.

Upon completion of this campaign, a Campaign Completion Label (CAT. NO. S-1015) should be affixed on a clean, dry surface of the radiator core support in an area clearly visible when the hood is raised. Each label provides space to print in ink (or type) campaign number 94-C-1 and your five-digit Cadillac dealer code. Dealers are to take the steps necessary to ensure that these numbers are recorded and the label is properly affixed.
