ISC Actuator Bracket Removal and Replacement

Throttle Body Assembly:






ISC ACTUATOR BRACKET REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

TOOL REQUIRED
J 29607, Idle Speed Control (ISC) Adjusting Wrench

NOTE: The ISC actuator bracket can be removed with the ISC actuator connected. For removing only the ISC actuator, use the Idle Speed Control Actuator Removal and Replacement procedure listed under this heading.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Throttle body assembly. Refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction / Throttle Body / Service and Repair / Throttle Body Assembly Removal and Replacement.
2. ISC actuator bracket (with ISC actuator).

DISASSEMBLE
1. ISC actuator from bracket.
2. Retainers from bracket.

ASSEMBLE
1. Retainers to bracket.
2. ISC actuator to bracket. Tighten ISC actuator nuts to 3.7 Nm (33 lb. in.).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. ISC actuator bracket (with ISC actuator). Refer to Thread-Locking Material under this heading. Tighten ISC actuator bracket bolts to 19 Nm (14 lb. ft.).
2. Throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body.

ADJUST
1. Perform ISC check.
2. Perform Throttle Position Sensor / Idle Learn Procedure under Fuel Delivery and Air Induction / Service and Repair.
