Troubleshooting Hints

TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK
1. Check Engine Compartment Fuse Block Fuses A3 and B5 by visual inspection.
2. Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block Fuse C3 by visual inspection.
3. If equipped with Front Fog Lamps, Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block Fuse C11 by visual inspection.
4. Check that Headlamp Relay "D" is securely mounted in the Engine Compartment Micro Relay Center.
5. Check that DRL Headlamp Relay "E" is securely mounted in the Engine Compartment Micro Relay Center.
6. If equipped with Front Fog Lamps, Check that Fog Lamp Inhibit Relay "F" and Fog Lamp Relay "A" are securely mounted in the Trunk Compartment #1 Micro Relay Center.
7. Check that grounds G100, G101, G301 and G401 are clean and tight.
8. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
9. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
10. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
^ Refer to System Check for a guide to normal operation.
