PCM Outputs

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) OUTPUTS option provides the ability to cycle PCM controlled Outputs. The DIC display identifies the solenoid or relay, and what state the PCM is commanding of that device. HI indicates that the solenoid or relay is energized, and LO indicates that the solenoid or relay is de-energized. The PCM outputs tests can only be done with the engine not running. The PCM outputs available are as follows:

PO00 No Outputs Cycle
No outputs. No PCM outputs are cycled while PO00 is displayed.

PO01 Evaporative Emissions System (EVAP) Solenoid
The EVAP solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO02 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid
The TCC solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO03 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Solenoid
The EGR solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO04 Not Used
No PCM outputs are cycled while PO04 is displayed.

PO05 Not Used
No PCM outputs are cycled while PO05 is displayed.

PO06 Idle Speed Control (ISC) Motor
The ISC motor will alternately extend for 2 seconds and then retract for 2 seconds.

PO07 C/C Vent Solenoid
The Cruise Control Vent Solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO08 C/C Vacuum Solenoid
The Cruise Control Vacuum Solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO10 Transaxle Shift A Solenoid
The transaxle shift A solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO11 Transaxle Shift B Solenoid
The transaxle shift "B" solenoid will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO20 A/C Compressor Clutch Relay
The A/C Compressor Clutch Relay will cycle "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.

PO99 Cycle All
PCM will cycle all outputs at the same time. "ON" and "OFF" approximately every 4 seconds.
