Before clearing diagnostic trouble codes, check and note history diagnostic trouble code data, as this information will also be cleared.

Select appropriate menu, then select the clear diagnostic trouble codes function. Verify that diagnostic trouble codes are cleared by using the TECH 1 to read diagnostic trouble codes. If any diagnostic trouble code other than No. 12 is present, diagnostic trouble codes were not cleared or an ABS fault still exists.
