Troubleshooting Hints
TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK1. Check Engine Compartment Fuse Block Fuses A3 and B5 by visual inspection.
2. Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block Fuses C3, C11 and C13 by visual inspection.
3. Check that Headlamp Relay "D" and DRL Headlamp Relay "E" are securely mounted in the Engine Compartment Micro Relay Center.
4. Check that Fog Lamp Relay "A" and Fog Lamp Inhibit Relay "F" are securely mounted in the Trunk Compartment #1 Micro Relay Center.
5. Check that Rear Fog Lamp Relay "A" is securely mounted in the Trunk Compartment #3 Micro Relay Center.
6. Check that grounds G100, G101, G301 and G401 are clean and tight.
7. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
8. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
9. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
^ Refer to System Check for a guide to normal operation.
