Pull Down System
TRY THE FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment that may affect the integrity of other systems.
2. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation that could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD" in a continuity or a voltage check with a system disconnected. (Refer to Diagnostic Aids for General Troubleshooting Procedures) Diagnostic Aids
3. Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block Fuse "D7".
4. Trunk Lid Lock must securely lock to Striker for proper operation of Pull-Down Motor.
5. Visually inspect Trunk Lid Pull-Down Motor connector and associated wiring.
