TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK1. Check Engine Compartment Fuse Block Fuse A3 by visual inspection.
2. Check Backup Lamp Bulbs.
3. Check that G402 is clean and tight.
4. If one Backup Lamp is inoperative, check for an open in LT GRN wire between S459 (Concours) or S436 (Eldorado/Seville) and inoperative Backup Lamp or an open in BLK wire between G402 and inoperative Backup Lamp.
5. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
6. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
7. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
