Front Doors May Not Stay Open On Slight Grades
(Replace Lower Hinge Assembly)

Models:
1994-96 Cadillac Concours, DeVille - Built Prior to VIN Breakpoint TU251623

This bulletin is being revised to add the 1996 model year, revise the correction procedure and update parts information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 43-10-4?A (Section 10 - Body).

Condition

Some owners may comment that the front doors may not stay open on slight grades.

Correction

Replace the lower hinge assembly with P/N 16632002 (RH) and P/N 16532003 (LH).

Procedure

Use appropriate Service Manual for removal and installation procedures.

1. Paint new hinge assembly.

2. Remove lower hinge assembly.

3. Install hinge assembly and align door. Tighten door hinge bolts to 48 N.m (36 lb ft).

4. Touch up paint.
