Troubleshooting Hints

PROCEDURE
1. Check I/P Fuse #19. If open, check CKT 641 and CKT 70 for a short to ground.
2. Check I/P Circuit Breaker 2. If open, check CKT 2640 and CKT 70 for a short to ground.
3. If the Power Sunroof won't work when RAP is activated, refer to "Retained Accessory Power (RAP)," under Accessories and Optional Equipment.
4. If the Power Sunroof operates at all times (with RAP timed out), check CKT 707 for a short to ground. A short to ground, open or short to B + will set a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) in the CCM.
5. Check G200, make sure it is clean and tight.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check. These circuits maybe intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
