AIR INTAKE SYSTEM
The air cleaner is remotely mounted. The air passes through the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, a resonator (for quieter engine operation) and the intake duct to the throttle body. An additional resonator is attached to the top of the intake duct to further eliminate intake noise. The air then flows into the intake manifold, through the cylinder heads and into the cylinder.
