Troubleshooting Hints - Base

PROCEDURE
1. Check I/P Fuse Block Power Seat Circuit Breaker #3. If Circuit Breaker #3 is open, check for short to ground in CKT 1740.
2. If the Rear or Front Height does not function, but entire seat moves up and down, replace the Seat Switch.
3. Make sure G200 is clean and tight.
4. If the Recliner does not function, but all other seat actions operate, check CKT 2240 from S348 to Recliner Switch for an open.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check. These circuits maybe intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
