Troubleshooting Hints

Procedure
1. Check I/P Fuse #12. If open, check CKT 239 for a short to ground, or CKT 24 for a short to ground.
2. Check the Backup Lights for damage to the filament or corrosion between the Backup Lamp and Backup Lamp Socket.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check. These circuits maybe intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
