Trunk Lid/Tailgate Release

The Trunk Lid Release system consists of: Trunk Lid Release Solenoid, Trunk Lid Release Switch, and associated harness wiring.

When the Trunk Lid Release Switch is pressed, Circuit Breaker 3 applies battery voltage to the Trunk Lid Release solenoid. The solenoid energizes and the Trunk Lid latch assembly releases the Trunk Lid.
