Catalytic Converter Over Temperature Alarm

The Catalytic Converter Alarm Module is powered (at terminal C1/C) through Trunk Compartment Fuse A11 and CKT 139 when the ignition is in RUN, BULB TEST or START. The module is grounded at terminal C1/A through CKT 150 at ground G301. The module monitors the output signal of the Catalytic Converter Over Temperature Sensor at terminal C2/B through CKT 1790. When the module detects that the catalytic converter temperature has reached 810°C (1490 F) it sounds an alarm using the Catalytic Converter Alarm Speaker.
