Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

Cruise Control Cable Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the cruise control cable from the heater hose clip (2).

Cruise Control Cable Adjustment:

2. Open the cable adjusting lever (1).

Cruise Control Cable Adjustment:

3. Slide the cable (1) together or apart in order to adjust the vertical endplay:

Specification
Vertical endplay (minimal deflection): 2.0 to 4.0 mm (0.08 to 0.16 in).

Cruise Control Cable Adjustment:

4. Close the adjusting lever (1).

Cruise Control Cable Replacement: Removal Procedure:

5. Verify the cruise control system operation. Install the cruise control cable to the heater hose clip (2).
