Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
3. Remove the upper cooling fan control switch.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the switch.
4. Raise the vehicle and support.
5. Remove the lower cooling fan control switch.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the switch.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Install the lower cooling fan control switch:
- Connect the connector.
- Install the switch. Tighten the switch to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
2. Lower the vehicle.
3. Install the upper cooling fan control switch.
- Connect the connector.
- Install the switch. Tighten the switch to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
5. Fill the cooling system.
