Temperature Setting Does Not Provide Comfort
Comfort Complaints
The following areas should be checked and adjusted or repaired when comfort complaints occur:
^ The air-mix valve.
^ The In-Vehicle air temperature sensor or aspirator hose.
Visually check to ensure that the In-Vehicle sensor aspirator is drawing passenger compartment air into the In-Vehicle air temperature sensor housing opening. If the air is not being drawn past the sensor, check to ensure that the hose is attached at the sensor and the aspirator. Repair the aspirator hose if it is chinked. Inspect for a restricted sensor housing-to-instrument panel opening. Replace the aspirator, if the condition has not been corrected.
