Headlamp: Service and Repair

Headlamp Assembly:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Upper filler panel.
2. Screw retaining cornering lamp.
3. Cornering lamp sockets and cornering lamp.
4. Two nuts retaining headlamp housing to fender.
5. Upper and lower bolts retaining headlamp housing to rail.
6. Headlamp wiring harness connector.
7. Headlamp housing.
8. Headlamp bulb electrical connectors.

Install or Connect
1. Headlamp bulb Electrical connectors.
2. Position headlamp housing to body.
3. Headlamp wiring harness connector.
4. Upper and lower bolts.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb.in.).

5. Two nuts securing headlamp housing to fender.

Tighten
^ Nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb.in.).

6. Cornering lamp sockets and retaining screw. Do not tighten screw.
7. Align cornering lamp with headlamp leaving only 2 mm (5/64 inch) between them and tighten screw.

Tighten
^ Screw to 2 N.m (18 lb.in.).

8. Upper filler panel.
