Component Tests and General Diagnostics

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check that the flowing systems are operating properly. If not, refer to the diagnosis in that section first.
^ Refer to Power Door Locks.
^ Refer to Trunk release (from trunk lid release switch).
^ Refer to Fuel door release (from fuel door release switch).
2. Check COMFORT fuse in the Trunk Compartment Fuse Block. If it is open, check for short to ground in CKT 2460 (ORN).
3. If only one Transmitter is not working:
^ Check inoperative Transmitter Battery by exchanging it with the one from the working Transmitter.
^ Verify that the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Module is synchronized to Transmitters.
4. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems. (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,") Diagnostic Aids
