Message Display

Provides a visual indication of telephone numbers and messages associated with mobile telephone service.

No Service Indicator (NoSvc)
NoSvc-Illuminates when the unit is out of range of the cellular system or the selected system registration restricts operation in the service area. Calls cannot he placed or received. The NoSvc flashes slowly in areas of marginal coverage.

Roam Indicator
Roam-Illuminates solid when the unit is within range of a cellular system other than its home registered range operating on the same frequency. When flashing ON/OFF indicates operation with alternate service provider from home system.

In Use Indicator
In Use-Illuminates when a call is initiated or answered. There are no dial tones on cellular phones.

Signal Strength Indicator
Represented by three full blocks that represent strength of the cellular signal. Shown after the PHONE menu logo on the DIC display and the upper left corner of handset. Three full blocks represent a very strong signal strength, as signal strength decreases the blocks will go down accordingly.

Digital
Digital-Indicates service from a digital cellular service provider.

Voice Recognition (VR)
VR-VR on DIC indicates phone has been put in voice recognition mode.
