Manual Movement

The Memory Mirror Module (MMM) receives inputs from the outside mirror switch to move the mirrors. Only one mirror can be moved at a time, so the mirror select switch must be placed in either the LH or RH position before a mirror can be moved. Moving the mirror switch will send inputs to the MMM. When the MMM sees a valid input, it supplies voltage to the appropriate mirror motor(s).

When the MSM receives an input from the LH lumbar switch, it supplies voltage to the appropriate lumbar motor.

For Eldorado/Seville, the Memory Seat Module (MSM) receives the seat manual movement inputs directly from the LH seat switch. When a forward/back, rear height, front height, or recline input is received, the MSM supplies voltage to the appropriate motor(s) and the seat or seat back moves accordingly.

For DeVille, the Memory Mirror Module (MMM) receives the seat manual movement inputs from the LH seat switch. The MMM then sends a Class 2 message to the Memory Seat Module (MSM), informing the MSM of the seat switch activation. The MSM then supplies voltage to the appropriate motor(s) and the seat or seat back moves accordingly.
