IPC EPROM

The IPC contains a Flash EPROM (Electrically Programmable Read Only Memory) that contains the program information used by the IPC to control and display vehicle parameters. It is crucial that all information requested by the authorized service center, if obtaining a replacement IPC, be correct so they can supply the correct version of software for the vehicle you are working on. The EPROM will retain its data if battery power is lost. The Flash EPROM can NOT be serviced separately.
