Front Door Striker: Adjustments

TOOLS REQUIRED

Lock Striker Adjustment - Door (Front):

J 42418 Mini Wedge Door Striker Aligned
1. Loosen the striker screws enough to allow movement of the striker.
2. Install J 42418 to stricken
3. Move the striker up or down and inward or outward.
4. Close the door while holding the outside handle in the open position until door is flush with the adjacent panel.
5. Open door.
6. Tighten the striker screws to specifications.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

7. Remove the J 42418 from the striker.
