Headliner: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDUREHeadliner Replacement: Removal Procedure:
1. Slide sunscreen all the way rearward.
2. Open glass panel.
3. Remove sunroof actuator motor cover by:
3.1. Remove sunroof selector knob, if equipped.
3.2. Remove potentiometer by releasing tabs (push inward), if equipped.
3.3. Remove dome and reading lamp (snap out).
3.4. Remove electrical connectors from dome and reading lamp.
3.5. Remove screws from sunroof actuator motor coven
3.6. Remove sunroof actuator motor cover, pull down and rearward to release actuator motor cover from headliner.
4. Remove sunshades.
5. Remove sunshade retainers.
6. Remove headliner opening finish molding (2), start at opening of headliner finish molding and pull away from headliner.
Headliner Replacement: Removal Procedure:
7. Remove windshield garnish moldings.
8. Position front all the forward.
9. Remove center pillar upper finish panel.
10. Remove roof rail courtesy reading lamps.
11. Release rear seat center belt shoulder belt latch from buckle.
Headliner Replacement: Removal Procedure:
12. Remove rear seat cushion.
13. Remove rear seat outer cushion.
14. Remove rear window upper garnish molding.
15. Remove rear quarter trim upper finish panel.
16. Remove headliner through right rear door.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Headliner Replacement: Installation Procedure:
1. Install the headliner through right rear door.
Headliner Replacement: Installation Procedure:
2. Install the rear quarter trim upper finish panel.
3. Install the rear window upper garnish molding.
4. Install the rear seat outer cushion.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
6. Connect the rear seat center belt shoulder belt latch to the buckle.
Headliner Replacement: Installation Procedure:
7. Install the root rail courtesy reading lamps.
8. Install the center pillar upper finish panel.
9. Position the front seats to there original position.
10. Install the windshield garnish moldings.
11. Install the headliner opening finish molding (2).
12. Install the sunshade retainers.
13. Install the sunshades.
14. Install the sunroof actuator motor cover by:
15. Install the sunroof actuator motor cover to the headliner.
16. Install the screws to the sunroof actuator motor cover.
Tighten
Tighten sunroof actuator motor cover screws until fully seated but not stripped.
17. Install the electrical connectors to the dome and reading lamp.
18. Install the dome and reading lamp (snap in place).
19. Install the potentiometer (snap in place), if equipped.
20. Install the sunroof selector knob, if equipped.
21. Close glass panel.
22. Close sunscreen panel.
