Manual Movement

For Eldorado, the memory seat module (MSM) receives the seat manual movement inputs directly from the LH seat switch. When a forward/back, rear height, front height, or recline input is received, the MSM supplies battery positive voltage (B+) to the appropriate motor(s) and the seat or seatback moves accordingly.

For DeVille, the Memory Mirror Module (MMM) receives the seat manual movement inputs from the LH seat switch. The MMM then sends a Class 2 message to the Memory Seat Module (MSM), informing the MSM of the seat switch activation. The MSM then supplies battery positive voltage (B+) to the appropriate motor(s) and the seat or seatback moves accordingly.
