Muffler Replacement (Right)

^ Tools Required
- J 29800 Cut-Off Tool

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Support the intermediate pipe.
3. Cut the intermediate pipe (1) as close to the muffler with J 29800 Cut-Off Tool.





4. Remove the muffler hanger and the muffler/tailpipe assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the muffler and the hanger.





2. Connect the muffler to the intermediate pipe, using a U-bolt clamp. Tighten the clamp nuts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
