Temperature Setting Does Not Provide Comfort

TEMPERATURE SETTING DOES NOT PROVIDE COMFORT

The following areas should be checked and adjusted or repaired when comfort complaints occur:

^ The air-mix valve.
^ The inside air temperature sensor or aspirator hose.

Visually check to ensure that the inside sensor aspirator is drawing passenger compartment air into the inside air temperature sensor housing opening. If the air is not being drawn past the sensor, check to ensure that the hose is attached at the sensor and the aspirator. Repair the aspirator hose if it is chinked. Inspect for a restricted sensor housing-to-instrument panel opening. Replace the aspirator, if the condition has not been corrected.
