Lower Control Valve Body Disassemble and Inspect





1. Remove the three 10-mm bolts (534) from the channel plate side.
2. Remove the six 10-mm bolts (534, 951, 952, 954) from the accumulator housing. Then remove the accumulator housing (944) from the channel plate.





3. Remove the four checkballs (65) and remove the spring (971) from the channel plate.





4. Remove the one 10-mm bolt (534) from the channel plate side and the six 10-mm bolts (941) from the automatic transmission fluid pressure manual valve position switch (936). Then remove the automatic transmission fluid pressure manual valve position switch (936).





5. Remove the nine remaining 10-mm bolts (938, 940, 941) from the lower control valve body. Remove the lower control valve assembly (903) from the channel plate.





6. Remove the four checkballs (65), remove the three 8-mm bolts (939) from the spacer plate support cover (937), and remove the spacer plate support cover.





7. Remove the spacer plate and gasket assembly (935) from the channel plate.
