Water Pump Removal

- J38816-1A Water Pump Remover/Installer





1. Remove the water pump housing bolts.
2. Remove the water pump housing and the gasket.





3. Remove the water pump (3) from the water crossover. Use the J 38816- 1A. Index the J 38816-1A into the water pump locking ears (4) and twist in order to unlock the pump from the housing.
4. Inspect the water pump seal (2) in the water crossover (1) for tears and cuts.
