WARNING MESSAGE

The following messages may generate because of an IPC DTC being set. Diagnose the IPC DTC that sets using the appropriate DTC diagnostic chart if applicable:

^ BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW
^ BATTERY VOLTAGE HIGH
^ CHECK BRAKE FLUID
^ CHECK COOLANT LEVEL
^ CHECK FUEL GAUGE
^ CHECK WASHER FLUID
^ FUEL LEVEL LOW
^ HEADLAMPS SUGGESTED
^ OPTIONS NOT SET
^ PROGRAM PASSKEY
^ PHONE NOT PRESENT
^ REMOVE KEY
^ SERVICE BRAKE FLUID SWITCH
^ START CAR
^ STARTING DISABLED REMOVE KEY

The following messages may generate because of a PCM DTC being set. Diagnose the PCM DTC using the appropriate DTC diagnostic chart if applicable:

^ CHANGE TRANS FLUID
^ CHECK OIL LEVEL
^ CHECK GAS CAP
^ CRUISE ENGAGED
^ ENGINE COOLANT HOT, IDLE ENGINE
^ ENGINE MISFIRE, EASE OFF GAS PEDAL
^ ENGINE POWER REDUCED
^ SERVICE TRANSMISSION

Diagnose the messages using the appropriate DTC diagnostic system chart if applicable:

^ SERVICE RIDE SYS
^ SERVICE STEERING SYS
^ STABILITY ENGAGED
^ SERVICE STABILITY SYS
^ TRACTION ENGAGED
^ TRACTION OFF
^ TRACTION READY
^ TRACTION SUSPENDED
^ TRUNK OPEN

IMPORTANT: In some cases a number displays with a message (i.e. TRUNK OPEN 24 EXP). The message indicates that the vehicle is configured for a country which does not use English as a primary language. The number provides a cross reference to a non-English owner's manual. In order to change the vehicle configuration, Refer to Instrument Cluster Diagnostic Information, specifically the IPC override option B Testing and Inspection.
