Power Antenna Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear compartment trim.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Disconnect the antenna coax lead-in.
4. Remove the antenna drain hose (2) from the hole in the floor pan.
5. Remove the ground strap fastener (5).
6. Remove the lower fastener (3).
7. Pull the antenna assembly downward in order to remove the antenna from the spacer (1). Remove the antenna assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Apply a soap and water solution to the inside of the spacer (1).
2. Insert the top of the antenna up through the spacer.
Push the antenna in order to secure the antenna.
3. Align the lower leg of the antenna bracket to the hole in the inner quarter.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the antenna lower fastener.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Align the ground strap (4) to the upper bracket. Install the ground strap fastener (5).

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

6. Install the antenna drain hose (2) to the hole in the floor pan.
7. Connect the antenna coax lead-in.
8. Connect the electrical connectors.
9. Install the rear compartment trim.
