Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

Personalization

When a keyless entry transmitter is used to unlock the vehicle's doors, the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) communicates the unlock command and which driver performed the command to the Memory Mirror Module (MMM)via a Class 2 message. The MMM will then relay a recall command to the Memory Seat Module (MSM) at the appropriate time, if needed. There are three personalized recall options when the MMM receives an unlock message:
^ Recall immediately upon receipt of the RFA message.
^ Recall when a key-in message is received.
^ Do not recall upon receipt of an R/A message. Recall functions are only performed with the memory switches.
