System Operation

The cruise control is a speed control system that maintains a desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions. The electronic cruise control system has the capability perform the following functions:
^ Cruise
^ Coast
^ Resume speed
^ Accelerate
^ Tap-up
^ Tap-down

Steep grades up or down may cause variations in the selected speeds.

The cruise control does not work at speeds below 40 km/h (25 mph).

The cruise control will shut oft under the following conditions:
^ When you apply the brake pedal.
^ When you turn the ignition switch to OFF.
