Steering Wheel

^ Tool Required:
- J 1859-03 Steering Wheel Puller

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

NOTICE: SIR coil assembly is easily damaged if J 1859-03 is not used.

1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
3. Steering column shaft nut.
4. Steering wheel using J 1859-03 Steering Wheel Puller.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Feed coil assembly lead through slot in steering wheel.
2. Steering wheel to column shaft.
3. Column shaft nut.
^ Tighten Shaft nut to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).

4. Inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
5. Enable the SIR system.
