Frame Bushing Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

- Tools Required
- J 24319-B Universal Steering Linkage Installer
- J 42090 Rear Support Bushing Installer





1. Remove the rear axle cradle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement.
2. Remove the protective boot from the top of the support bushing. Pry the boot out by hand.





3. Use the legs of J24319-B.
4. You may have to place a shim in the center of the bushing.
5. Press out the bushing.
6. Remove the rear axle support bushing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the bushing to the cradle using the J 42090.
2. Install the protective boot to the top of the support bushing.
3. Install the rear axle cradle.
4. Adjust the rear toe to specifications.
