Instrument Panel Storage Compartment - Door Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment.
2. Remove the door strut from the instrument panel compartment.
3. Using a punch and a hammer, drive out the door hinge roll pins.




IMPORTANT: Do NOT break the guide stops when you remove the compartment door. The guide stop on the left side (where the strut mounts) is a tight fit when removing.

4. Remove the IP compartment door from the IP compartment box.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the IP compartment door to the IP compartment box.




2. Using a punch and a hammer, drive in the roll to the door hinge.
3. Install the strut to the IP compartment door.
4. Install the IP compartment.
