Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is inside of the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). The MIL is controlled by the ECM and illuminates when the ECM has detected a problem that affects the vehicle emissions.
