Rear Window Lockout Feature
The rear window lockout feature disables the rear
power window switches. The rear
power window motors may be operated only by the left front power window switch. This lockout is a safety feature in order to prevent children from tampering with the power windows. The rear window lockout switch supplies the battery voltage through CKT 1307 (DK BLU) to terminal F of both of the rear power window switches. When the rear window lockout switch is engaged, the voltage is removed from the rear power window switches. For commercial vehicles (RPO V4U), the wiring to C312 and C319 is also on the locked-out CKT 1307 (DK BLU).
