64. Starter Motor Installation

1. Place the starter motor in position in the engine valley.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the two starter motor retaining bolts.
- Tighten the starter motor retaining bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).





3. Install the knock sensor (1).
- Tighten the knock sensor (1) to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).





4. Connect the knock sensor wire lead.
